Words and ideas can change the world.
Words, pictures, anything that has caught my eye and made me pause to think. I hope that something I post will do the same for you.

With that being said, my tumblr consists of quotes, pictures, songs, thoughts, most of which don't belong to me (except, of course, the thoughts). I do not take credit for anything unless otherwise stated. Whoever created the things I post, I often don't know exactly where I found them, but thank you for creating something that caught my eye. If you do not want something you created to be on my blog, please tell me and I will remove it as quickly as possible.

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do."
Words and ideas can change the world.
"Maybe there aren’t any signs! Maybe a locket is just a locket, a chair is just a chair. Maybe we don’t have to give meaning to every little thing. Maybe we don’t need the universe to tell us what we really want. Maybe we already know that, deep down."
How I Met Your Mother
"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world."

The 25 Greatest Quotes About Writing
"Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room."

"And I believe you are inherently valuable. Not as a character in some grotesque news cycle where your assault is all we know, but as a girl with hopes and dreams and ambitions and vulnerabilities and so much more growing up to do. I never need to know your name, but I need you to know you are not alone. Surviving is not a single occurrence, it is a lifetime of making choices that honor you and your right to speak. You have begun surviving. You will continue surviving."
